How do I tell if my broadband is compatible with your system?
 
Most broadband connections are compatible.
 
Can I use my system in any country?
 
Your alarm can be located in any country as the control mechanism is based around the internet, you can also arm and disarm your system from anywhere in the world where your mobile telephone will work.
 
What if I have more than one property, do I need separate accounts for each one?
 
You can have as many locations as you wish linked to your account. However, each one will require its own pin code.
 
Will the police respond to an alarm from my system?
 

The Police will respond to a 999 call provided you are sure that something is happening at your home that is not right.

In order to have Police attend your system when connected to a professional monitoring station you will need a police code. Our agents can advise you more on this.

 
Are the images recorded in the my-eye server usable in a court should we capture the image of an intruder?
 
Yes, the images at the server are timed and date stamped and watermarked, this proves that they have not been tampered with and they are from your system.
 
Do I need a PC on site to operate my system?
 
You only need a broadband connection and the equipment to operate my-eye there is no need for a PC on site.
 
Can I record images from the my-eye camera like a traditional CCTV system?
 
The cameras provided by my-eye are compatible with our free software iRecord, this you can download from your my-eye website. You simply need to run this on a local PC to the camera. Alternatively, there is a purpose built image recorder known as IAF this enables complete local monitoring of your cameras just like an old fashioned digital video recorder.
 
Can I become an agent for this system in my area?
