Thank you for your interest in the Premlink Home CCTV system and the franchise opportunities.

The Premlink system is based on a data network designed specifically for the storage and manipulation of images from IP based CCTV cameras and systems. Nothing other than the cameras are required to protect property.

The cameras can be controlled over the Internet and by your mobile telephone, by mobile Internet and SMS texts.

The system is designed for event based recording and alarming, the cameras and/or sensors are used to detect the event.

Because of the power of the Internet and the fact that this is “event based” it is not necessary for the protected premises to have any on site recording equipment or systems (although our parent company can provide this if required).

Internal alarm cameras.

These cameras are armed and disarmed (generally by text from mobile telephone) and either use motion detection or infra red to detect an alarm.

In the event of an “alarm” pre-alarm and post-alarm still images are sent into the network where the images are analyzed by the servers and the two images with most motion are sent to the user and all registered keyholders mobile telephones and email addresses.

The system can be disarmed in the same way. Disarm gives two options, full disarm and privacy mode – full disarms stops the camera from sending alerts and images into the network and privacy mode completely disables the camera (the image sensing components are disabled).

Users can set the cameras into zones and can select to arm and disarm zones independently (from V2.0).

Users can lock cameras so that they are not armed or disarmed, or can be locked into a set mode.

The system also includes a fair use policy which will alert the user in the event that a camera is sending too much data into the network.

External recording only cameras.

External cameras are generally not armed/disarmed (although that facility does exist – recommended that detectors designed for external detection are used). These cameras are set to send images to the network servers whenever motion is detected. The user can then use these images to monitor who/what approached their home.

Live viewing.

The user can access cameras at any time using the Internet with the assurance that his home camera access is protected. The user connects to the server/network and the server/network then connects to the camera(s).

There are three types of franchise opportunities.

Option 1 : No Fee local area support.

In this option the franchisee pays no fee to Premlink but can list themselves as experts on the Premlink backoffice.

The franchisee will be given an access code. This code should be given to any direct customer they connect to the network, the customer will receive a small discount on the service charges and the network will detect the code and apply the franchisee commission to its account.

Franchise commission is an annual fee paid on every connection and a small one on each camera sold.

The franchisee will receive requests local to him from customers buying direct from the Premlink website who require installation assistance should a local dealer not exist within reasonable distance.

Option 2 : Local dealer.

In this option the Franchisee pays a fee to Premlink for a postcode region. No other dealers will be appointed in that region.

The Franchisee will be given an access code. This code should be given to any direct customer they connect to the network, the customer will receive a small discount on the service charges and the network will detect the code and apply the franchisee commission to its account.

Franchise commission is an annual fee paid on every connection and a small one on each camera sold.

The Franchisee will receive requests local to him from customers buying direct from the Premlink website who require installation assistance.

Option 3: White Labelled dealer.

In this option the Franchisee pays a fee to Premlink and the server interface will be white branded to that Franchisee. The Franchisee will be required to provide artwork/logo/contact numbers.

The server will be operated by Premlink but no marketing assistance will be given.

The Franchisee cannot sub franchise, but it may set its own end user price based on an agreed markup.

Franchise commission is an annual fee paid on every connection as described above, and 100% of the camera cost.
